Questions Our Customers Ask Most

How do you find the best spot to drill on my property?

We begin with a thorough site evaluation, reviewing local geology, water sources, and tank/pump logistics. We always follow Oregon’s well-drilling regulations to pinpoint an optimal, legal, and productive drilling location.

How deep will my well be, and will it ever run dry?

Residential wells here typically range from 150–300 ft. While most don’t run dry, lower yields can occur during drought. That’s why we drill deep to access reliable aquifers and include long-term flow testing.

Will my water be safe to drink?

Yes. Each well is professionally cased and sealed to prevent contamination. We also perform water quality tests for bacteria, minerals, or metals, and offer tailored filtration systems if needed.

How long does drilling take, and what affects the cost?

Most residential wells are drilled in 1–3 days. Factors like depth, geology, permitting, and pump/tank requirements influence the cost. We provide an upfront, transparent estimate—no surprises.

Do I need a permit, and who handles it?

Yes. Oregon requires well-drilling permits. We take care of the entire process—from prep to filing—so you don’t need to navigate the regulatory maze yourself.

What common problems do DIY or inexperienced drills cause?

Mistakes like shallow drilling, improper casing, or underestimating water quality risks can lead to dry wells, contamination, or pressure issues. We prevent these by using proven drilling methods and rigorous testing.

What’s the lifespan of a well and its pump?

A well, properly cased, can last 30–50+ years. Submersible pumps typically run 15–18 years, depending on usage and upkeep. We’ll guide you on maintenance needs and best longevity practices.
